Seikret:  The Seikret is an animal mount with exceptional agility and a keen sense of smell. It can guide you to your next objective or waypoint and allows you to heal up, sharpen your weapons and gather materials as you travel there. Vitally, it can also hold a second weapon in its weapon sling, allowing you to switch between armaments during a hunt.

Focus Mode:  A new way to aim your attacks and guards with more precision, allowing you to direct actions in the same direction as the camera. Focus Mode also highlights any wounds created by repeatedly attacking certain body parts, as well as any weak points the monster has left exposed.

Focus Strikes:  While in Focus Mode, your Hunter can perform special Focus Strikes that will cause extra damage to highlighted wounds and weak points.

Power Clash:  Block certain attacks will trigger a struggle between your Hunter and the monster. Successfully pushing the monster back will knock it off balance, giving you an opening to attack.

Offset Attacks:  Hitting a monster with certain attacks as it is attacking will cause the attacks to clash, knocking the monster off balance.You canuse this opportunity to follow upwith powerful unique attacks.

Slinger:  This wrist-mounted projectile launcher fires various types of ammo that can be gathered in the hunting locales. Additionally, the Hook Slinger lets you gather items from a distance and trigger environmental actions whether on foot or riding your Seikret.
